New iPad Revolutionary Resolution

The long awaited iPad is finally announced. Again, Apple sets a new benchmark for the world of tablets.

This entry is written without ever seeing this new iPad so it amounts to thoughts about the iPad rather than what the actual iPad really is.

Apart from the improved chip A5X to handle the resolution that is 4 times better than the present iPad in the market, the other spec improvement may not give much of a reason to swap out your iPad 2 just yet.

We imagine the wow factor is really the much talked about display at 2048-by-1536-pixel resolution at 264 pixels per inch (ppi). This is even higher in resolution than the high end notebooks and led screens.

CNet reported that this amounted to viewing the led tv for the first time after watching your CRT TVs. It appears to be a galaxy of a difference to the eye and it is not just on paper. You can actually be bowled over by the resolution of the iPad.

That’s why Apple calls this “resolutionary” and we can’t wait to get our hands on this baby to do a first impression review. We have been told that it won’t be long to wait.
