BERSIH 4 ENDS PEACEFULLY

Today is Day 2 of the 34-hour Bersih 4 rally.  It was estimated that few tens of thousands of Malaysians camped all over the vicinity of Dataran Malaysia.

The morning started with prayers of various faiths. The crowd built up in the late morning.

Towards the last leg of the program at 9pm, the crowd had swelled to over 100,000 people. Speeches were made by politicians, NGOs and also the public.

The atmosphere remained electrifying all the way to midnight when everyone sang our beloved national anthem,  Negara ku. Watch the video.

Will the Najib Government ignore the voices of these Malaysians, still calling them unpatriotic?

Bersih 4 succeeded to gain international coverage on BBC, CNN and even Al Jazirah. Local media refused to show the truth of Bersih. It was reported that over 10,000 Malaysians participated in Global Bersih 4 from Australia to China to England and USA.

It attracted Tun M to grace the occasion twice albeit making his gambit known which is along the same lines as Bersih, to call for a change in the allegedly corrupt Government and PM.

If these voices are ignored by Najib, it is to his own peril. The MPs of Parliament will have to consider mooting a no confidence motion in the October sitting.

Let’s see how the entire situation will turn around.

Good night, Malaysia!
